Based on early Indian chests, this piece has influences from classic Indian architecture.
Made mainly of iroko, with the decorative panels made of teak veneer and stained beech.  The lid has a rosewood handle.  It would sit easily at the end of a sofa or next toa chair and be used as a work box or small storage chest.

The table top is made of American ash veneered board, trimmed in American walnut.  The legs, which are made to look like riveted box sections, are made of oak with walnut detail.  The arches are also made of walnut.

The cabinet has been built inside-out, with the framing and carcase materials in MDF and beech visible on the outside, with the interior finished in walnut and walnut veneer.
