Thank you for visiting my website.  My name is Martin Aplin and I am a Shropshire-based woodworker, keen to share with you some of the furniture and other decorative items I make in my workshop.

I am a regular contributor of articles to 'Good Woodworking' magazine and my first article, a set of dining chairs, was chosen as a cover feature for the September 2002 edition.  More recently, I have been making pieces for a new series entitled 'Significant Styles'.  Some of these pieces are for sale, and the details are on the 'Significant Styles' page.
